Hi, we’re Phil, Juany, Benji, Jeremiah and Alexander Noble! Together, we own and operate Sage Mountain Farm, and we are an active part of the regenerative farming, organically grown and local food revolution that is sweeping Southern California and the country.
When we moved to the area, we quickly planted a vegetable garden and filled the existing corrals with cows, pigs, goats and chickens. We began with a small garden and we quickly ended up having extra produce. Not wanting to let anything go to waste, we decided to sell the extra produce at the local farmer’s market. From our first visit, people were friendly, thanked us for coming and asked if we would be returning, so we did, and Sage Mountain Farm was born!
The next step was deciding where to establish the farm. Since it’s easy for a conventional farm to contaminate an organic one, we decided on a more remote location in the Aguanga and Anza area. If you have been out to visit this area, it’s fairly remote. But we enjoy farming in the wilderness far away from conventional farms where we can practice and maintain regenerative & sustainable farming practices. All of the fruits and vegetables on our family farm are grown using organic processes and sparkling clean, natural well water from the San Jacinto Mountains in our backyard.
We believe that animals raised in fresh air and sunshine with room to roam produce the highest quality, best tasting meats. Our animals are free of synthetic hormones and antibiotics.
This road has not been without its bumps and pot holes, but it has been a labor of love and we certainly would not be here today without the support of our local community. At Sage Mountain Farm we feel a strong connection to you, our neighbors, and we enjoy looking out for Southern California’s healthy food needs.
